THE ULTIMATE IN DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS

The transformers must be designed to take into account the power needs and the duty cycles of each substation, without exceeding the temperature limits to avoid degradation of the insulation.

The H-ART180 developed by TMC Transformers improves the performance of the transformer and the lifetime expentacy.

TMC Transformers SpA designs transformers according to all international standards with rigorous criteria, validating the designs through finite element analysis in both the electrical and mechanical parts (IEC, EN, IEEE, ANSI, CSA, UL).

TMC Transformers SpA has successfully carried out short-circuit tests on traction transformers for 12 pulses and powers of 3880 and 4400 kVA, with 200 kV BIL insulation levels.
