TMC Transformers continues to advance toward its environmental goals with a significant update on its carbon emissions performance, part of Schneider Electric's Zero Carbon Project. We are proud in fact to have reported major progress in reducing our carbon intensity, particularly through a dramatic drop in Scope 2 emissions.

Performance Overview (2019–2024):

Emissions were evaluated across three distinct categories:

  • Scope 1: direct emissions.
  • Scope 2: indirect emissions from energy - dropped dramatically from 996 tons in 2019 to zero in 2024, signaling a full transition to renewable or low-emission energy sources.
  • Carbon intensity: reduced significantly year over year, until reaching -97% in 2024.

This milestone underscores TMC's strong commitment to decarbonizing its operations. The elimination of Scope 2 emissions is likely the result of a complete shift to renewable energy sources and the adoption of advanced efficiency strategies at its Busto Arsizio facility.

By actively supporting Schneider Electric’s Zero Carbon Project and setting ambitious internal targets, TMC continues to prove that environmental stewardship and industrial performance can progress hand in hand.
