TMC powers the infrastructure behind the New Olympic Arena
As Italy gets ready to host the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic games, a new modern arena is being built in the city. With a capacity of more than 16,000 people, the structure is designed to be very flexible, with a special floor that can change depending on the event - whether it’s an exciting ice-skating show, a basketball game, or a big concert. Thanks to its smart design and advanced technology, this arena is a great example of modern infrastructure.

By leveraging its decades of experience in transformers for infrastructure, TMC delivered 18 dry-type transformers that meets today’s demands but also structured to adapt for future evolving energy needs.

All the units have been supplied in IP31 boxes that ensure protection against occasional moisture exposure and vertically falling water drops.
