Driving the future of urban mobility with reliable traction technology

In recent years, Paris has been renovating its infrastructure, shifting towards more sustainable trends. In this process, to enhance the quality of its transport network and reduce the traffic of single cars, the city designed a new tram line, where our traction transformers fit perfectly.
Railway substation transformers consider the power needs and duty cycles of each substation, respecting the temperature limits of the insulation class, and avoiding insulation degradation. The TMC traction transformers for the T9 line were designed for operation with rectifiers, compliant with international standards, to be the ideal solution for energizing railways.

TMC solution
The railways sector demands specific transformers able to cope with the needs of the mobility sector, both in terms of energy loads and safety requirements. Our expertise is also needed as the final application is used for a public service, where a constant power supply guarantees the smooth operations of the public transportation, positively affecting the life of the community.
The strong knowledge and the certified experience of TMC in the manufacturing of transformers for railway networks were the key factors to be chosen for the tram line in Paris.
